Challenge
Why am I here? I'm a PhD student and need to connect with participants for my study. I need to interview graduates (up to 5 years since uni) working in firms of 10 people or less in the North East. If you employ graduates and are happy for me to contact your workers, or a graduate yourself- please get in contact. I need your help.
About me? Professionally, I am an award winning advocate of enterprise and entrepreneurialism in the UK, and I work for the Newcastle based Enterprise Agency- The PNE Group where I am director of Shell LiveWIRE, the UK wide social investment programme for young entrepreneurs. The PNE Group is a Not for Profit and over the years have managed and developed many innovative projects with the purpose of helping people start and run businesses. I have worked with entrepreneurs for many years and am also studying for a PhD in the area at Newcastle University- it’s a long slog!
I’m also a director and trustee of The Institute of Small Business and Entrepreneurship and on the advisory board of SFEDI. I really believe entrepreneurship should be a force for good and innovation can change the world. I am a big fan of small firms, they’re dynamic and fun to work in! I’m very well networked and love what I do, and have a real drive to use entrepreneurialism to do social good. I’m also a fellow of the Institute of Enterprise and Entrepreneurship, a fellow of the Royal Society of Arts and I’m one of the Courvoisier Future 500.
