To give a bit of background to the business idea, a high % of businesses with an NE postcode have been through redundancy in the last 4 years since the downturn.  This has a negative effect on all the people and businesses  concerned .

With staff morale and security at an all time low, inflation approaching 5%  and staff pay rises at a virtual stop, I wanted to create a business that would provide a sense of re-engagement between employers and employees. helping employees getting more return for their work, and employers with better engaged workers as a consequence.

I worked in HR Services  for 11 years.  During that time I was always coming up with prodcut ideas  and brought  some good ideas to market around people development . I grew tired of working for other people and wanted  to take charge of my own destiny.

Business start up

We began to talk to employers who were desperate to engage their workers . We conducted over 200 interviews at the benchmark employers in the region and created a landscape of offers, events and reward and recognition packages for employers .

It began to put a smile back on workers faces and employers as a result. With the view of re engaging the workers with their employer, fellow employee and local businesses.

My Business

Mystaffdeals is creating the UK’s largest direct to employee advertising platform. Creating daily deals and rewards and recognition packages from local businesses into the office blocks and employers of the city. Putting a smile back on workers faces.

We provides a cost effective way for employers to reward and recognise their people.

In 6 months we have become the largest supplier of staff benefits in Newcastle,  delivering reward and Recognition packages to 45 companies who employ 55000 staff in the city.

We are part way into the process of securing VC investment to grow, building up our user base, and replicate the model across other UK cities. We then plan to replicate the in the 6 largest cities in the UK .
