Tallulah Love's Naughty Showcase
You may recently have caught wind of the recent stir caused by Michelle Taylor and her Tallulah Love flash mob of the Turner Prize out side of the Gateshead Baltic, or, as is is now know, the 'Head Turner Prize'. Here, Michelle describes the experience in her own words:
(Tallulah Love are a North East based brand established in January 2010 and are now sold in over 20 countries. They are leading the way in luxury fashion in more ways than one).
"Here at Tallulah Love Luxury Lingerie we are full of mischief and fun and so when we heard that the Turner Prize was in town we decided that we would take this opportunity to shout about what is great about Newcastle and the North East. We knew it was naughty but we hope everyone took it in good spirits!
At approximately 6.20 pm on 21st October 42 models marched from the Baltic Gallery (top Newcastle gallery) across the Millenium bridge wearing nothing but Tallulah Love Luxury Lingerie and a cheeky smile.
Newcastle based musicians ‘My other Life Band’ played the Beatles classic ‘All You Need is Love’ and the stunning ‘Tallulah’s’ gave out fresh roses supplied by Katherine’s Florist of Newcastle. The girls were warmed up by a special winter cocktail created by John Collingwood of No 28 Bar. The event’s print sponsors Jasprint of Washington kindly supplied the ‘Show Some Love stickers’ which were proudly worn by all Tallulah Love supporters. Go Ahead buses kindly supplied an off duty double decker bus. Ideology Media provided superb photographic support.
In the last four days I am in awe of the people of the North East who have clubbed together in order to make this happen using word of mouth in the business community, Facebook and Twitter. We have managed to organise this spectacular event only because of the generosity of our community. Models applied to be Tallulah’s through our Twitter and Facebook pages . We are also thrilled that Glam r us model agency were also involved in supplying gorgeous girls for this superb showcase”
There are so many entrepreneurial people up here in the area with a real sense of community and spirit. I am thrilled to say that Fashion and Art are alive and living harmoniously side by side here in Newcastle. We are proud to show the world that Newcastle has some very talented and creative people and that although we may be in the midst of a recession we are determined to succeed and show the world what we have to offer.”
The cheeky showcase coincides with the launch of Tallulah Love’s first ever video advert which can be viewed by clicking the link below:
‘Laws of Attraction’ is a joint creative collaboration with Ideology Media and stars Burlesque star Frankii Wilde. The video will be used across all Social Media networks and will enable users to be able to purchase the stunning set directly through the video.
